"We spent about 10 days in India staying at various hotels. I have never written a review on anything, but exceptional service and care we recieved from this hotel deserves recognition. The place is spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic. But what impressed us the most was the genuine care, concern, helpfulness and respect we received from the owner and his staff. Eight of us from Australia stayed at this hotel and it was one of the most pleasant experiences of hospitality we received in India. The Grand Park Inn feels like a home away from home. Thanks for making our stay great. We recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe, clean, friendly, affordable, honest stay. "

"I've stayed in quite a few hotels in delhi and Grand Park inn is definitely the best of all.The rooms are spotlessly clean,the bathroom is big and perfectly clean too.The area is rather quiet and the hotel guests seem to be all quiet and respectful people.The food in the restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced .Down the road, there's a good shopping area where you can find all you need.The staff is helpful and the service is efficient and quick.I'll definitely stay at Grand Park Inn next time I stay in Delhi. "I have never written a review on a hotel before but the supreme service I found at the grand park inn has compelled me to spread the good word! Deciding on a hotel is delhi was stressful as most have bad reviews however believe EVERY word you read about this hotel! I was delighted with the stay at the hotel and package organized for us. The service was impressive and hassle free. Everyone was genuinely keen to help not just for tips. It was safe and secure and everyone was very helpful! Brilliant value for money! I will definitely recommend your hotel to colleagues, family and friends! I would not hesitate to stay with you again next time I am in Delhi ! I was sad to leave this hotel and the comfy beds and cleanliness! Absolutely brilliant!! Thank you for making it such a wonderful stay! "

"It was really great to find this hotel in AsiaRooms, thanks to this site I found this wonderful place to stay in Delhi while I am working alone. I am going to India since 5 years and always staied in Delhi for a couple of nights...I was tierd of dirty hotels with a slow type of service, so I took the advice of many reviews I read here recomending this place, and I am so happy I´ve done that. It`s very clean (something rare), service is outstanding. Madan and Safar are the persons in charge and they run the hotel in a very familiar way but also profesionaly and responsably. They were allways wanting to help me and resolve all my traveler needs (taxi, rikshaw, train tickets, buying fruits, or any other thing that I asked for). The hotel is placed in a safe neighborhood, is very easy to find locomotion to almost anywhere in Delhi. Highly recomended! you won´t regret it! Hari Om javi"

"I researched most of the hotels in Delhi, it took me a long time as it was either very expensive or had the worst reviews i have ever read. So I was sceptical when I came across Grand Inn as the reviews were fantastic and the pricing was reasonable. I had my aged parents with me as we wanted to see the Taj Mahal. I only booked 2 nights just in case the reviews were "lies". Well, I have never written a review before but felt compelled to write as The Grand Inn, was exactly that! Grand! the service was grand, the manager Madan Pai was grand! We ended up staying there for the whole 2 weeks! They really took care of us! I would recommend this hotel to anyone! "

"I stayed at the Grand park Hotel for 3 nights on my arrival in India and a further 3 nights before my return home. I was more than happy with the place.The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean.Everything seems to work fine - Satellite TV channels and lots of hot water for the shower.( It was 40 degrees when i was here so i showered a lot)! The staff were all polite and efficient and the manager Mr Madan Pai seems a very genuine and helpful chap.Only downside i would say is that there`s no Bar in the hotel and the breakfast room is a bit small and cell-like but your only a 5 minute walk from the nearest tube station and it costs only 8 rupees from there to connaught place. I reserved my room and also arranged Airport pick-up for when i arrived and everything ran smoothly. If your planning on staying here when you first arrive in India and travelling on from here then i`d advise you to have a chat to the manager when you arrive about any tours or tickets for your onward travels as they seem very genuine and i doubt very much they`d rip you off. Be very wary of the endless touts around new Delhi railway stn who seem to spend night and day fleecing every western tourist who turns up hoping to get a rail ticket out of Delhi.I got ripped off for a trip to agra and the hotel manager at Grand Park was disgusted by it.I wish now i`d have asked for his help. I did check out quite a few hotels in Delhi and for the price i`d say Grand Parks by far the best choice"

"We stopped at the Cpark-inn next door to the grand which is owned by the same people we were picked up from the airport and driven straight to the hotel as we arrived very late at night we were suprised by the service we were given. We were took to our room and were asked if we wanted any food or drinks as we were a family with 1 teenage daughter we asked for some drinks and then went to bed. We very very suprised by the cleaniless of the hotel and the rooms and hallways were kept very clean. The next morning we spoke to Madan Pai and he was very helpfull to guide us to our requirements. The 1st day we enjoyed a tour of Dehli guided by our driver Rajesh, in the evening back at the hotel we were looked after Parween the night waiter, he was so good and supplied us with any requiremements. We then booked a tour of Agra & Rajistan which was guided by rajesh,our luggage was put in a safe room for our return Rajesh the driver showed us all the sites and the best dining areas. Overall i would reccomend this hotel and the service provided to any visitor to india, Madan Pai and his team are very good at looking after there customers and next year when we go to India again i will definately stop there again, I give very good marks to service and hospitality at the C Park-Inn. please say a special hello to Rajesh & Parveen."

The hotel is very well located regarding that the metro is at a walking distance and not far from Connaught Place. The area is not the poshest but this is Delhi! The travel agency is highly recommended. Very efficient. "

"My husband and I booked this hotel based on the reviews on this site, and of course, according to our budget. Was only expecting to have a clean bed and decent bathroom. But we got much more than that. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. In fact, the service we got here was much better than what we got at a 4-star hotel in Agra, and a "heritage hotel" in Jaipur. Madan, the manager, responded very promptly to my email enquiry, and when we were at the hotel enquiring about where to go, he was extremely helpful. Even wrote down the subway station names for us so that we wouldn't get lost. Room service was very prompt as well. First night, I stupidly did not know how to switch on the heater. Had to ask for help. 2nd night, when my husband and I returned to our room, the same staff who helped switch on the heater the previous night actually came along just to help us switch on the heater! This may be a 3-star hotel, but I'd give it 5-star for service and hospitality!"

"My fiancee and myself chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews on this website and found that it's what it's valued. Manager Madan was very helpful on helping us to plan our 2 week trip across Punjab and Rajasthan, and the driver Malkit was a very nice man. Even during the trip we decided to alter the route a little Madan has been offering advice and things were going smoothly. Our first time in India has been a better experience with their hospitality, and the food in this hotel is better than average. It wouldn't be a 5-star hotel experience, but for its price and service it's definitely a recommendation for those who travel budgeted and look for value for money."

"My wife & I want to thank the Hotel Manager Mr Madan Pai and his staff for making our stay enjoyable and safe. The hospitality was fantastic - Staff are friendly and exeptionally helpful. The hotel surroundings are typical for a normal Indian inner cities, with easy access to shopping, resturants in Karol Bagh, CP and Chandni Chowk. Rooms are spacious, tiled floors with en-suite bathrooms, which are clean. Highly recommended place for budgeted visitor. "A GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY""

"I just wanted to say a big thank you to the manager, Madan and the staff at the Grand Park Inn for making our stay so memorable,comfortable and safe. The hospitality was truely outstanding. I arrived at Delhi Railway station, and the scene was manic. Very busy and con men touts giving you misinformation. I called the hotel, and with in a few minutes, the manager himself turned up to take us to the hotel. Now thats service! The hotel is in a brilliant location. Its not set in some sanitised tourist offering but right in the heart of what Delhi has to offer, the huslte and bussle, the great shopping experience and the many excellent restaurants. The place is truly alive. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and decorated to a modern contemporary style on par with many higher rating hotels. The food in the hotel is excellent. The staff are friendly and attentative. I cant keep stressing that the customer service was second to none. Its like good conceirge you get in established hotels. You want a good night out, an adventure, a great romantic place to eat, take you to your nearest ATM, a tailor to create something with the beautiful fabric you bought. They will arrange it all. Just ask! I've stayed at many 5*s in delhi and I have never written such complimenting review about the service. You cant fault it. I've read many of the reviews on this site and its amazing how so many ppl have experienced the same consistent, good service. "

"Friendly, extremely helpful, excellent communication, clean room, testy food and within your budget, if this is what you are looking for, then Grand Park Inn is your hotel. This is not a 5 star hotel, but with 5 star service. From the manager Mr Madan Pai to housekeeping staff, they are always doing their best to help the guests from car hire; airport pickup to how to get around & shopping… nothing was too much for them. My friend (from Netherlands) and I have stay there on 3 different occasions and each time we left happy and willing to go back there again. I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"This was our first trip to India, but the hotel made a crazy experience much more comfortable. The staff were exceptionally attentive (waiting for the tips!!!) and ANYTHING we wanted they helped us with, even walking us to ATM machines at night!!! Also, we felt that our belongings were very safe. The area it is located is hardly glamerous but it is near to the metro which provides cheap and easy travel around the city. The food from the place next door (which the staff collect for you, along with a couple of bottles of Kingfisher! 30p) is tasty and really good value with no sign of the dreaded Delhi Belly!! Well Done Grand Park Inn..."

" A spotlessly clean well run hotel , extremely comfortable rooms fitted with all modern amenities with extremely comfortable beds , with excellent 24 hrs service , pleasant staff, delicious food available at very reasonable rates and served at your request. Invaluable advice given by the General Manager Madanji on shopping , travel, eating out, sightseeing in Delhi. "I honestly view myself as a low-maintenance visitor, and I'm amenable to most circumstances. The Grand Park Inn is a very reasonably priced hotel in Delhi, and generally clean with good morning breakfast. But its location - Karol Bagh (the auto/motorcycle district on Delhi) is a less-than-nice location, despite its proximity to the subway. And the management is awful. My key complaints: (a) no driver from the airport although scheduled (plane was 1/2 hour delayed so driver left); (b) after day 2 (of 3), they move me to a sister hotel despite my request to stay; (c) they give me a room in the new hotel that has no out-facing window and is immediately adjacent to the kitchen, which is active and *really* loud for all hours except 2-6 am (so those are the hours I slept); and (d) they tell me in the morning I don't have a complementary breakfast (although I did at the first place), requiring me to speak to the manager who has me get the phone number for the manager at the other hotel (he actualy told me to go over there to talk to the manager at the other hotel rather than worry about it himself). There's more. And all this might seem a bit petty, but the frequent level of dishonest and disrespectful treatment really added up. I was very unhappy with the ongoing lies from the management. Overall, I'd rather have paid more for better treatment elsewhere."

"I would refute the claim in the previous evaulation which stated that the Grand Park was located in an area unsafe for women travelling alone. I have stayed in this hotel twice and, as a woman travelling alone, I felt perfectly safe. I have rarely experienced such a high degree of hygiene and prompt and reliable service in any hotel in the price range. The services I am referring to include the speed of response to my initial booking enquiry, the airport pick up which was reassuringly waiting for me as promised at 2am despite a 2 hour flight delay. Room service was prompt, courteous and clean. "

"I am writing to highly recommend The Grand Park Inn, a medium priced hotel in the Karol Bagh district of New Delhi. Mr. Pai, the manager at the Grand Park Inn, provided hospitality and service that went beyond any experience we had encountered in our extensive travels, not only in India but also in many countries throughout the world. Our two daughters were the victims of “touts” upon their arrival in Delhi. When we contacted Mr. Pai about our victimization he was not only upset at the immoral and corrupt behavior of the “touts” but immediately reported the situation to the appropriate authorities and offered us two free nights including breakfast to compensate for our losses. We stayed at the Grand Park Inn for these two nights and found the accommodations exceptionally well maintained and clean with attentive and pleasant staff. We would highly recommend the Grand Park Inn for anyone traveling to Delhi. We would also encourage contacting the hotel to arrange transportation to and from the hotel to prevent victimization by the touts of Delhi. Joan Swain"

"I stayed in this hotel 7/12/07-10/12/07 and again 23/12/07. It is brilliant the suite room was very very clean and lovely. Location is good and staff are extremely helpful. On our last visit we left some of our luggage on the bus from Jaipur to Delhi, the manager, Madan tracked down our luggage and organised a car and driver to pick it up, totally went out of his way to help us. Another bonus was on both our stays the hotel staff were more than happy for us to leave our luggage there after checkout for several hours until it was time to catch our next flight, they also organised transport to airport and railway station. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough will definately stay there again next time we are in Delhi."

"I had heard many bad things about staying in Delhi, but we were pleasently suprised with this hotel! The service was good and the room was clean and the bathroom had a bath! The dining area was rather small so we mostly had room service. The owner was nice and although he was very busy, he helped us out when we needed."

We have been also in other hotels in New Delhi before, but took this time the Grand Park due to good feed backs in the internet. From now on, I just can tell you, we will stay there again. It is absolutely the best for its price."

"Having spent time in New Delhi on several occasions, my journey always begins with a search for a budget hotel, with adequate facilities. It also always starts with the thought in mind that it IS NEW DELHI, and I need to adjust my european expectations. I emailed my travelling partner and said that we would be staying ay the Grand Park Inn Hotel this year, and sent the link. I also stated in the email that if the room turned out ANYTHING like the pictures or description, I would pay for the dinner. That cost me! Yes, I was shocked, I have been caught out by many cleverly taken photos and flowery descriptions to walk away thinking 'Oh well what more do you expect from a budget hotel, in India' Not here. 1. The Hotel is located in the Karol Bagh district of New Delhi, within a short auto rickshaw ride to the train station and Connaught Circus. It was a little difficult to find for most drivers, but once you knew where it was you could help out and it may be said that the location isn't the greatest, but this is only at first glance. Within a minutes walk is just about any facility that you require, including internet access, barbers, food stalls and shops to top up on all that left at home excess luggage, and phone sim cards etc. 2. Upon arrival the staff are generally very quick to be outside, helping with your luggage and getting you settled into your room with minimum fuss and maximum speed. The Hotel lobby looks EXACTLY like the web photo, and is spotlessly clean and efficiently run. From here the staff and the owner are happy to assist you in any requirement you have, including giving advice on how much you should expect to pay for all your transport to and from the hotel and where to get supplies or something to eat. 3. The rooms are spacious, air conditioned and above all Spotless. Now lets get this absolutely clear, I am a member of HM forces and know where to check a room for cleanliness and lazy cleaning. Both the rooms I had during my stays were spotlessly clean and dust free, all surfaces including those not within easy eyesight, the bathroom was immaculate, all taps and chrome polished and way above the standard I have come to expect even in Europe, let alone India. Glasses in sealed packaging. All Bed linen was , clean and crisp ( I usually use my sleeping bag, not so here), my room also had a TV, Fridge (Again Spotless), telephone, western toilet & fully enclosed walk in shower. 3. The staff were friendly and helpful and constantly on call. I read another review which said they never hung around for a tip, they must have had a different staff on than when I went. But it's a hotel and tips are only to be expected, ho hum. 4. I ordered room service during my stays and the food was superb, and reasonably priced as was chai/coffee etc. Quick, efficient and no Delhi belly for me, thank you very much. 5. When I ordered taxi's/rickshaws through reception the staff had always sorted out the price before I had got there and was always much cheaper than when I organised it myself ;) 6. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller, especially if it is your first visit to Delhi as it is useful as a bolthole from the whole scene. 7. I have NO complaints about this hotel in any way at all, and all my future trip have been made all the much easier as I shall no longer spend countless hours trying to find a Hotel in New Delhi, as there is no need. The Grand Park Inn Hotel is the ONLY place I shall stay at in the future. I am an independent traveller who travels the world in order to paraglide, I have stayed at over a dozen hotels in 2007 alone and know what to expect and what not. If you are not entirely sure, please feel free to drop me an email and ask any thing that you wish."

"This was my first trip to India & I stayed at the Grand Park Inn for 4 days in September & then decided to come back & stay for 2 more days in October this year. We were 2 women travelling on our own & felt completely safe & secure here & were very happy with the size & cleanliness of the room, also the food was very good & reasonably priced. I have to commend the hotel on their staff, I found all of them to be extremely courteous & helpful & best of all they never made you feel like they were helpful just to get a tip, actually on a number of occasions we had to chase them to give them the tip as they just helped us & then left. The manager Madan Pai was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. I will definitely stay here again when I next go back to Delhi."

"This is the best hotel in Karol Bagh. Very close to the metro station, easy to get to central Delhi. The rooms are clean and Madan is very helpful. I have stayed at many places in Karol Bagh and this is the best. I would recommend it to all of you who want good value rooms in Delhi."

""My husband and I stayed at The Grand Park Inn in August/September 2007. The rooms were very clean, the meal was affordable and the staff friendly. Madan the manager was very helpful and organised all bookings for tours, travel to Mumbai (return), at resonable cost. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if this is your first trip to India. India was difinitely a culture shock and The Grand Hotel provided comfort, advice and assistance. Highly recommended."

"I stayed at The Grand Park Inn in September and again The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, the service was of a high standard.My overall experience was excellent. Through Madan,the helpful manager,I booked an airconditioned car and driver to take a tour through Agra and Rajastan. The car was new, the driver,Melkit,safe and professional. The hotels I stayed in on the trip were of a similar standard to The Grand Park Inn,quite impressive. The tour itself was a great success. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and their tour service to other travellers who want to see India in comfort, without breaking the budget."

"This was my first trip to India and was treated with such hospitality and kindness. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The manager was excellent in helping me in all aspects. I would recommend the Grand Park Inn to any one travelling to India and staying in Delhi. The food and service to the room was done efficiently and the staff treated myself very well. I have enjoyed my stay here. I have been in India for one month travelling through Rajastan and Udder Pradesh and on my return stayed at the Grand Park again....it is one of the best budget hotels I have experienced in my travels here in India. Do come and stay here and you will be pleased with the hospitality and kindness plus the cleanliness. I thank them dearly and hope to return here at the Grand Park Inn again. "

"This is an excellent place to stay in Delhi, if you don't mind staying a little outside the main backpacking/tourist centre.The rooms are spotless, the service very good indeed and the in-house food tasty. The owner Madan is always helpful and it's nice to have soembody you can trust to help you organise tickets etc in what can be a very stressful city. "During my stay I accidentally overstayed my visa. The hotel was incredibly helpful throughout the process. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well cared for. I havew now been traveling for 6 months and this is one of the best budget places I have stayed in. The travel desk at reception is also very useful and you are not being ripped off. "

"Women traveling alone, this is your hotel! As a first time tourist to India, I was concerned about safety and cleanliness. The Grand Park Inn exceeded my expectations for safety, cleanliness, comfort and service. I felt like a queen with all the attention that the staff lavished on me from the baggage handling, room service, food selection, tour arrangements, laundry, etc. etc.... I could go on and on!!! I lacked for nothing during my stay. I definitely would return to this hotel when I plan another visit to Delhi. From the Manager, Mr. Madan Pai, to Mr Kamal, who seemed to do everything for me from housekeeping to room service, I was given the royal treatment."

"Booked the hotel after an extensive search online. In Delhi you never know what to expect, but the pictures on the hotelwebsite are exactly what it looks like. The rooms are spacious, with western style bathroom, hot water (ask reception to switch on the boiler first), a fridge, a tv and of course a/c. In case of power failure there is a generator back up which will work the fan. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Rooms are cleaned thoroughly everyday. The location has it's pros and cons. The hotel is just off a busy road on a side street with car-part shops. So it can be quite busy and there is not much to do in the neigbourhood. Then again it depends on what you come to delhi for. There are always rikshaws available near the hotel and the metro station is a 5-10 minute walk away. All in all, the hotel has everything you need for your stay. Clean accomodation, all amenities available (definitely try the room service if you don't feel like eating out)and i forget to mention it: excellent service!"

"A classsified 3* hotel with 4* ratings and 2*price. Reception staff do need some training, housekeeping/room servicestaff very efficient/friendly and comparableto 4* hotel staff. Food is great and value unbeatable. For USD 10 max a couple can have a great meal with starters/salad/main meal. Food served fresh & piping hot. Rooms are so large that there are 2 fans in the bedroom. Our plan was to stay 4 nights, we stayed for 8nights, did check a few other hotels around and none comparable to this. Mr.Madan Pai, Manager is a truly professional businessman, not only taking care of hotel interests but customer interests as well. He is the backbone of the Hotel, very pleasant GENTLEMAN. God bless him and his taff and their families, we felt we stayed with a family whom we will miss dearly when we leave. I have travelled the world over and have stayed at Hilton/Sheraton/Radisson Hotels but being retired I am very budget conscious."
